Responsibilities
- Leading BI Developers & Analysts
- Engage with C-Level Executives
- Work
across the organisation and with clients to ensure that the right data
is collected and processed to enable smart, data driven decisions
- Work with business units to interpret results, devise action plans and evolve business execution
- Establish quantitative benchmarks and influence test design and measurement for new products and new services
- Develop detailed reporting requirements and KPI dashboards to track and measure strategic initiatives
- Obsessed with data quality
- Lead adoption of selected BI tools across the organisation
- Manage team priorities to meet executive, business and operational needs
- Develop
new reporting and analytical frameworks to facilitate strategic
decisions, identify opportunities for improvement and monitor business
performance
- Oversee and develop reporting to external clients and partners
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of metrics reported
- Develop and deliver critical reporting to business partners
Speak with authority on technical and commercial matters with equal passion.
Experience & Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a big four consulting group.
- 5+ years in an analytical role. This
doesn’t need to be in a ‘pure’ analytical/Bi role i.e. if you do BI or
analytics as part of your role (you may be a Marketing
Manager/Head/Director/Consultant and undergo this as part of your role
or you manage people who fulfil this as part of theirs).
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Accounting and Finance qualification desirable
- Structured Systems Analysis experience or ability to demonstrate a structured and analytical approach
- Ideally, strong SQL skills and experience in relational databases e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc
