Job Description Summary

Develops and delivers detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours). Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.

Position Summary:

Adobe’s Consulting Team is a dynamic group of outstanding consultants who partner with customers to define, execute and govern digital marketing strategies, so they can realize the most value from their Adobe investment.

AEM Technical Consultants are responsible for the partnership between Adobe and our strategic clients, driving value realization and return on the client’s investment. This team is comprised of technology-savvy individuals who have experience in digital marketing and know its value in driving company strategies. You will work directly with our clients to understand business and technical requirements, and to develop solutions to ensure success.

What you will do:

  • Represent Adobe Consulting as a Technical Consultant being responsible for the technical implementation of Adobe Experience Manager engagements.
  • Coordinate with client teams and define use cases, goals and objectives to support the business needs.
  • Build system and application components to achieve defined digital experience and business needs.
  • Effectively analyze complex project issues, devise optimal solutions, and facilitate the recommendations to the Clients and Partners.
  • Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest Adobe digital experience technologies and solutions through internally and externally available learning opportunities as well as self-study.
  • Contribute to Adobe’s AEM practices and share on the ground customer feedback with product engineering and product managers to improve the product capabilities.

What you need to succeed

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Proven multi-year experience with Java, JEE, XML and JSON
  • Good practical experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Profound experience in at least one JavaScript Framework, such as React, Vue.js or AngularJS.
  • Experience with highly trafficked and scalable web content management systems.
  • Profound experience with REST APIs, Unit Testing, GIT source control, agile methodologies and software design patterns.
  • Knowledge of trends in the area of personalization, headless, data driven optimization

Consulting Skills

  • Be able to gain trust at customers and guide them along the engagement towards success.
  • Experienced in holding professional and convincing presentations.
  • Be comfortable to lead conversations with all operational levels at customers and partners, tailored to different audiences.
  • Ability to handle ambitious engagement situations in a proactive, goal-oriented and highly professional way.
  • Ability to lead functional teams / initiatives including task splitting and delegation.
  • Be a team-player and support other roles in your environment.
  • Be able to self-organize and prioritize your work schedule in a multi-engagement environment.
  • Understand when to involve other professionals in order to ensure success.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of working schedule
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • AEM Backend Development like Sling Servlets, OSGi Components and JCR Queries
  • Core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix.
  • Touch UI, Sightly (HTL) and Sling Models.
  • Experience with Content Delivery Networks.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing.
  • Adobe Experience Manager developer certification.
