    About us

Rightmove is the great British web success story. We launched in 2000 and rapidly became the number one destination for UK property search.
Rightmove is now the biggest home-grown web brand in the UK - in January 2013 our traffic levels were only surpassed by the global brands Facebook, Google, YouTube, eBay and Amazon. In March 2015 we saw our busiest month ever with over 115 million visits and 1.6 billion page views. This is a 19% increase in visits compared to March 2014.

Despite this success, we remain a down-to-earth bunch. Our working culture is open, friendly and informal, with people from all areas of the business interacting freely.
We want Rightmovers to be continuously developing themselves so we provide the support and opportunities for them to do that. Together we work towards the best outcome, both in terms of our technical solutions and continued business growth. We are always on the lookout for the best new people to join our team. If you are a smart and passionate initiative-taker then get in touch. You could be part of the next chapter of the Rightmove story! Will you be ‘Gnomed?’

    Did you know?

  • Rightmove was meant to be called 'Doorknob.' But it didn't quite have the same ring to it.

  • There have been eight weddings between Rightmove colleagues over the past 15 years.

  • In true Rightmove style you could actually fit all of our Rightmovers into 17 London Cabs, this is

because we managed to squeeze 23 into a cab! True story!

  • We still have employee #1 working at Rightmove
