Background
Alpha
is an innovation facility based in Barcelona, established by Telefonica
in early 2016. Alpha’s mission is to create Moonshots: audacious
projects that use radical ideas and breakthrough technology to address
some of the biggest challenges in society. Such Moonshots are designed
to affect 100 Million people or more, be a force for good on the planet,
and grow into impactful businesses.
Alpha Health is Alpha’s first Moonshot and out team is growing! We are looking for a Front End Developer.
Start from scratch
You
will join the Alpha Health team in its early stages, meaning that you
are part of the team that defines how Wingman should be constructed near
the start, including which tools should be included in Wingman based on
best practices and your experience.
Diverse team
You
will work along with Data Scientists, Voice Scientists, Designers and
Front-end, Back-end developers, Q&A among others. People in our team
are from diverse backgrounds as Finland, Holland, US, Russia, Serbia,
Greece, Spain and Venezuela and we normally talk in English (or
Spanish).
You will be surrounded by people that are wickedly

Learn and use groundbreaking technologies
Interact with engineers from leading technology companies around the world
You should have
Experience inHTML5, CSS (3) and Javascript (Angular 2, jQuery, D3, Ionic v2)
You will work on
Develop
UI’s for web for mobile, tablet and desktop for doctors, patients and
family members across various browsers (responsive).
Interpreting graphic visual and interaction designs in HTML5, CSS (3) and Javascript (Angular 2, jQuery, D3, Ionic v2+, etc.).
Get top loading performance and accessibility compliance.
Advise
and collaborate with design team on best practices and architecture
(Use of Sass or LESS, CSS structure, different CSS for various media,
CSS2 vs. 3).
Making the connection between frontend and
backend work like clockwork (RESTful APIs, HTTP protocol (headers,
content negotiation, authentication)
Participate in usability testing.
Use analytics to improve user experience.
A big plus if you have experience in backend programming (
node.js, MongoDB) or if you'd like to grow into a Full Stack engineer.
