Job Description
We
are looking for a frontend Software Developer with a minimum of 3
years’ experience and is willing to live in Barcelona. You will be
involved in the implementation and development of our IT services.
Requirements
- Proficient
in Javascript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, MongoDB, Node.js, DevOps, Meteor,
Bootstrap, Programming in R, AngularJS, Express.js, Docker, riot.js,
React.js, Python
- Good English communication skills, Spanish also valuable.
- Experience in DevOps will be also valued.
- Preferably some knowledge about the tourism industry.
- Flexible and proactive, fast learner.
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
What we’re building
Booklyng
is a solution that adds intelligence and interactive tools to the hotel
website and booking engine, in order to offer the hotelier the
possibility to interact with his online clients "as if they were face to
face" with him at the hotel reception. With Booklyng, the hotel can
maintain its own online technology (website and booking engine) as it
is, without involving its IT department, since the solution can be
integrated with a simple script. By allowing the hotelier to create a
personalized dialogue with his customer, based on real time analytics,
controlled through over 100 real time personalization variables, and
powered by dozens of interaction tools, Booklyng converts the online
booking journey from a static experience to a dynamic one. Consequently,
website conversion ratio can be increased by over 60%, making the
hotelier’s own website the most effective and profitable channel to sell
its rooms.
