The Senior Front-End Developer, who is a JavaScript enthusiast and passionate for AngularJS, CSS3 and HTML5, will be responsible for developing, deploying and managing our innovative web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional programming and analytical skills to develop and maintain a highly visible, responsive web application
- Analyze business and user requirements for web applications
- Exercise cross-disciplinary skills to include security testing, unit testing, and performance tuning and testing
- Interact confidently and enthusiastically with a highly distributed and diverse team
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to bring new features and services into production
- Value product excellence and team success over individual productivity
Successful Candidates will have:
- 6+ years of experience as a Front End Developer
- Fluent in JavaScript (ES5+), understanding the positive and negative aspects of the language when it comes to building and maintaining a large code base/user traffic
- Highly skilled with different frontend frameworks and tools (e.g.: AngularJs/ReactJS/VueJS, TypeScript/Flow, npm/yarn, Webpack/Rollup, etc)
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS and D3
- Experience with JSON RESTful APIs
- Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
- Awareness of the importance of privacy and security
- Comprehensive understanding of source control with branches, tags, and merging (Git preferred)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to explore new technologies and applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s/Masters's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
