Job Description

We are looking for our Director of People and Culture! An inspirational and energetic leader who has a passion for growing amazing teams in fast-paced international environments.

The Director of People and Culture will lead all aspects of the People and Culture division, from strategy to execution, including hiring, employer branding, employee relations and benefits, talent retention, talent development, training, team communication, admin and legal matters.
His/Her overall goal is that what makes Hosco special today continues to strengthen over time: its people and its culture.

The Director of People and Culture will immediately lead a team composed of a Recruitment Manager, a Training Manager and an HR assistant based in Barcelona, Spain. He/She will form part of the Hosco Leadership team who collectively make strategic and operational decisions for the company and will report directly to the CEO.

Hosco has raised over 11mm EUR to date from business angels and Venture Capital firms in Europe and the team is currently composed of 80 talented individuals based in Barcelona, Geneva and Dubai. The plan is to grow headcount to 150 in the next 24 months (mainly at the Barcelona HQ).

Requirements
  • Experience in high-growth startups of over 150 staff
  • Over 5 years of experience in HR/People management roles
  • Experience managing teams
  • Strong experience in attracting international talent
  • Knowledge of Spanish Labour Laws (preferred)
  • A business strategic mind to align the People and Culture strategy and goals with the overall company plans, challenges and opportunities
  • A creative mind to come up with new ideas and processes to achieve our goals
  • A passion for building and growing unique teams and cultures
  • A strong hands-on spirit
  • Spanish Language competency - Comprehension, verbal and written
  • English Language fluency, both verbal and written
