Job Summary:
We are now looking for a Devops Engineer or Software Developer willing to take part of our Continuous Inegration team to verify the Ericsson Policy Server for the future 5G networks.
Your role will include all DevOps activities such as: requirement analysis of our Continuous Integration machinery, automation design, software design, integration, verification, simulations and tools design.

 

We are organized in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

 

Responsibilities:
You will drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling regarding our Continuous Integration machinery
Test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting
Drive continuous improvements of tools and processes
Develop competence in technical domain

 

Key Qualifications:
Education: Computer or Telelecommunications degree
Domain experience: SW development and automation
Working with people and networking
Innovating, adapting and responding to change
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Planning and Organizing
Good communication skills in English

Strong programming profile: Java/Java Groovy/Python
SW architecture knowledge and experience with distributed systems, multi-tier systems, storage concepts, web interfaces and REST APIs

Tools and technologies

Source Control (GIT and Gerrit)

Hands on with Continuous Integration (Jenkins and Spinnaker)

Deployment Automation & Orchestration (Jenkins)

Hands on with Container Concepts (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)

Additional Requirements:
Infrastructure Automation (Puppet, Chef or Ansible)
Protocol analyzers
Cloud computing (VMware, Openstack...)
