YOUR JOB
- Conception and continual development of scalable and stable automated server infrastructure (in our AWS environment)
- Implement robust monitoring and altering solutions
- Security, performance optimization, maintenance and fixing bugs of the infrastructure
- Further development of our applications together with the backend team
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Extensive knowledge and professional experience as administrator of web services
- Profound understanding of security concepts, scaling, caching and monitoring
- Routine configuration of PHP, Debian, nginx, nodejs, relational and NoSQL databases
- Expert in cloud services (AWS), automation of infrastructure and deployments (e.g. with Jenkins, Terraform, Chef)
- Be familiar with current infrastructure technologies and future trends
- High demand for quality, particularly for performance and run time stability
- Analytical thinking and goal-oriented work ethic
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Good command of the English language (oral and written)
- A plus:
you have fun with statistical analysis, penetration testing, and/or have
experience with the PHP framework Symfony or search engines
