Eodyne Systems is a spin-off company of the
research group SPECS (Synthetic, Perceptive, Emotive and Cognitive
Systems) that is part of IBEC (Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia)
and formerly part of Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Eodyne specializes in
the development of advanced interactive products that deploy Virtual and
Augmented Reality (VR, AR), and Gaming technologies, with a
science-based approach. Eodyne started commercializing the
Rehabilitation Gaming System (RGS), an ecosystem of products, protocols
and data management for neurorehabilitation, based on video games and
interactive therapy.
After several years of research and
professional experience built up by SPECS in the DIgital Heritage
sector, we are starting a new line of activity for the development of AR
and VR applications aimed at visitors in museums and memorial centers
throughout Europe. This strand will be established next to already
running collaborations with a number of European memory institutions.
Minimum requirements
Min. 2 years experience with development in Unity (C#, UI elements)
Good knowledge of best practices in OOP, collaborative development, Git
Fluency in English
Proactive working style in combination with very good communication skills
Desired requirements
Experience with AR and VR development, especially for outdoor applications
Experience with multiplatform mobile app development (iOS, Android, Windows phone)
Experience with sound design
Affinity with Digital Heritage, History/ Archaeology/ Museum industry
Fluency
in English, any additional language is a plus. Given the nature of the
historical content, German and/or Norwegian are a big pre.
Duties
Develop high quality code for new features
Refactor existing code
Develop functionality in Unity and Web based technology, for different user experiences (museum visitors, and curators)
Management of app delivery process and testing
