We
are a security company and Auth0's Security team is in the privilege
position of supporting a security first culture for a company that wants
to make the internet safer.
We are looking for a
technical and hands on Engineering Manager who is passionate about
people and can lead our Detection and Response engineering team.
Successful candidates will be located on the west coast in PST (UTC−8 or
within 3 hours) OR London metro area (UTC+1).
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop our Detection and Response capability
Build a diverse team - fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
Build and own all CSIRT processes - including responding to security incidents
Develop a roadmap to close any maturity gaps and be accountable for it's delivery
Create a CSIRT capability that scales by building tooling and automation
Own the logging pipeline - working with Engineering teams across the company to onboard new logs
Requirements:
Several years experience in a Security Engineering management role or as a Senior team lead
Experience hiring and attracting talented Engineers
Experience responding detect, respond to, investigate and remediate security events
Experience working as a Security Engineer and delivering engineering projects
Experience with AWS and using it to scale detection+response
Familiar with Logging infrastructure (syslog, Fluentd, Sumo Logic)
Experience with automating detective capabilities and orchestration tools
