We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) for MS SQL Server with the following technical skills and experience:
- Relevant experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and conflict management skills.
- Database Security & Integrity
- Optimizing database access and performance
- Developing & Maintaining Database Disaster Recovery Procedures
- Architecting, Implementation & Monitoring of Database Maintenance Plans & Overall Instance/Database performance
- Ensuring Standardized Administration practices are implemented
- Ensuring all Administration Practices facilitate scalability
- Provide thorough functional and technical evaluation of Database related products, as well as Database & Service Pack upgrades
- Develop and maintain Database Replication between Disparate Platforms
- Provide Database Clustering/High Availability/High Volumes Support
- Provide Database Technical Support for Development Teams
- MS in Computer Science / Technical engineer
Would be a plus if you have the following…
- Experience in financial services
- Fluent English and willing to travel occasionally
