Role
This is a bridge role between the Business Intelligence,
Sales and IT departments with the objective of increasing the level of
profitability of the company based on specific decisions derived from
detailed analysis of MobileCashout’s mobile services subscriptions.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for defining and
maintaining an overall infrastructure for data analysis and
visualization. Together with the Management of the company and the
support of the operation team he/she will develop and maintain weekly,
monthly and quarterly reports that provide critical business visibility
on key revenue and profit trends, by product, market, vertical and
traffic sources. Additionally, based on detailed analysis of the
segment, he/she will collaborate with the IT team to identify potential
improvement in the intelligence platform by analyzing and designing
algorithms.
Profile
You will identify opportunities for improving
processes and business using information technology. You will define
KPI’s and values for these KPIs to be followed by the advertising team.
Together with Management, you will create profitability guidelines and
determine growth and profitability patterns per market. You will need a
good understanding of technology.
Tasks
Collaborate with the Technical team to improve IT infrastructure that facilitates ETL processes.
Collect KPIs and design/define visualizations
Structure masses of information, identify data-driven trends and understand what really matters and why.
Deliver insights and analytics across the company's operation and advertising departments.
Proactive investigation and trends analysis by using our internal tools and external BI/BV systems.
Ability
to identify and escalate issues and opportunities ahead of time to help
reduce impact and improve financial / performance implications.
Analyze and design new algorithms to improve the company’s products performance.
Together
with the Sales Director, develop and defend actionable insights and
conclusions in order to increase the profitability and generate new
revenues.
Desired Skills and Experience:
At least 1+ years of relevant experience is required
Experience in Online Advertising or Web Analytics
Degree in mathematics, information technology, business information systems or similar
Experience with advanced statistical methodology, like Bayesian statistics
Experience with Database, Business Intelligence, Business Visualization systems is a plus.
Proactive personality with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
Managing and prioritising workload, taking ownership of all assigned tasks
Advanced Internet user
The desire and agility to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
