About the Position
We
are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data Team to work on great
Machine Learning, Personalization and Predictive Analytics projects,
working with massive amounts of data coming from different sources and
helping the company to hidden information to improve our business and
user engagement.
Responsabilities
Be in charge of running Data Science projects in coordination with Data team
Research, prototype and develop user segmentation, content personalization algorithms with data Science Tools.
Define data models to structure existing information.
Extend company’s data with third party sources of information when needed, in coordination with our Data Team
Perform ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
Requirements
PhD/MSc in Machine Learning/Statistics/Mathematics or similar
Expert in machine learning, data mining and predictive analytics. Experience building machine learning systems using big data
Strong programming skills in Data Science tools (Python, R…)
Familiarity with Big Bata tools, Hadoop and related subprojects (Hive, Pig, Mahout, HBase, …)
