As any startup, our day-to-day is fast-changing since we’re constantly evolving and growing. We are building a data-driven business and a team based on transparency, knowledge-sharing, and always-learning-attitude.

We recognize the power and driver that technology means to our business and that is why we continue to consolidate our Tech Team, looking for a Data Engineer that can create value from the data generated by the company's applications and facilities, building models based on Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence and supporting the operations of other teams within the Company, giving agile access to all the necessary data.

Thus, our ideal Data Engineer would be someone:

  • Experienced working with SQL and No-SQL databases. If you are also familiar with Clickhouse, better.
  • Expert in creating data pipelines (ETL). ( Airflow or similar tools).
  • Literate with Bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, ideally with AWS data stack (S3, Glue, Redshift...).
  • Knowledge of streaming data processing (Kafka, AWS Kinesis...).
  • Knowledge of Python and the usual set of libraries for data processing and ML.
  • Plus if you have a back-end development experience. We work with Kotlin and Micronaut, but if you have experience with Java and Springboot it would be equally valuable.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
  • Comfortable working with Git for version control and collaborative work (merge requests...)

If you join us, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate in the definition of technical solutions.
  • Participate in the whole cycle of data strategy definition and production deployment.
  • Develop code, tests and integrations.
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams.
  • Participate in the work organization meetings, as well as in the ideation of future solutions.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Flexible work hours. We value results over hours spent
  • The opportunity to develop and grow in a technological environment that still has a long way to go and is leading the clean energy revolution.
