About the role

The Audience Strategy team is seeking strong Data Analysts with an interest in commercial/ marketing insights and a strong background in (social) data science to understand, build and optimise our growth strategies and support the marketing automation effort across the company.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in allowing us to create value from our different data sets, by way of in-depth analysis of marketing data, visualisation of results, segmenting and understanding our audiences so we can tailor the perfect experience to them.

You will be turning data into actionable insights according to business and marketing requirements, analyzing customer behaviour, touch points and providing integrated dashboards. All while ensuring data quality to provide improvement to business processes and impact decision-making.

What you will be doing

  • Work with data streams to bring in the needed data and insights to our CRM and our campaigns.

  • Query our database to create new audience segments and coordinate with the journey team to create customer journeys for them.

  • Implement and optimize CRM audience segmentation for growth.

  • Define and conceptualise scoring and tagging systems.

  • Work with the Marketing Automation teams to build successful campaigns and create a seamless researcher experience.

  • Manage data analysis and reporting of our marketing automation and CRM integrations.

  • Support measurement and campaign effectiveness, generating audience insights using closed-loop reporting between our marketing automation platform, data reporting tool and Salesforce.

  • Monitor the performance (dashboards and publishing monitoring KPIs), forecast performance through predictive analytics, and recommend remedial actions through prescriptive analytics.

  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting, defining measurement requirements.

About you

Must haves:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a data analytics, business intelligence or similar role, ideally working on marketing projects.

  • Experience building audiences for retargeting, nurturing and growth.

  • Proficiency in writing and understanding complex SQL (BigQuery) and working with large data sets.

  • Expert knowledge of Tableau and other data visualisation tools, preferably in the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Strong understanding of the marketing tech stack (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CDP, Pardot, Google 360, Advertising Studio…).

  • Strong understanding of how databases work, types of data, types of relations…

  • High level of personal initiative and very good strategic and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications skills and ability to simplify advanced statistical concepts for a layman audience.

  • Ability to produce clear and concise data-driven reports and presentations.

  • Ability to liaise with data engineers.

  • Fluency in verbal and written English.

Preferable:

  • Desirable 3+ years of experience working with digital marketing data and marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Advertising Studio).

  • Basic experience with data sources integration with Salesforce Customer Data Platform.

  • Basic knowledge of Saleswings and Google Analytics 360 for behavioural analysis.

  • Working knowledge of integration and data flow between marketing systems and Salesforce.

  • Working knowledge of APIs, data connectors, and other pipelines.

  • Experience in marketing operations for technology products.

  • Data modelling capability with large data sets leveraging an established BI solution (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, CRM Analytics).

  • Certified in Einstein Analytics is a nice to have.
