- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with web services related standards such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, and OAuth.
- Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) independently.
- Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role, working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team.
- Familiarity with middleware and cloud technologies, including NoSQL data stores, Google Cloud and mobile app development.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence key decision makers around deployment topologies, scaling, performance and sizing.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Italian or Spanish fluently and idiomatically.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time as required.
