Bgendy is looking for a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), ready to join the team at co-founder level.
Bgendy’s
mission is to use data to create a more transparent and diverse
workplace for the benefit of all. Through company reviews we’re giving a
voice to thousands of women and helping employers to bring greater
gender equality to their workplace.
As CTO you will own the
technical architecture and design, development, testing and all
technical aspects of our startup. Initial responsibilities will include
the development of MVP.
This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to play a role in the design and development of the product backend.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Be able to communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience in back-end development in one or more of these languages: PHP, Javascript, Python, Ruby.
- Experience with Cloud Providers (Google Cloud, Amazon AWS).
- Experience with database design and operation (MySQL or PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Awareness and interest in Data Science technology
- Experience with Devops fundamentals such as CI/CD and deployment to cloud infrastructures.
- Proven project management experience
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
