Personal Qualifications
We search for a router/telecommunication engineer with focus on wide
network, wireless, security and telecommunication technologies.
We expect a self-assured and confidence inspiring appearance grown
through a technical knowledge, with the ability to self-adapt easily to
new technical an personal challenges.
Ability to gain new technical knowledge from other engineers through
work-shops and trainings, to engross later on by self-learning.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge about embedded Linux its network stack.
- Shell scripting and programming skills.
- Good comprehension about layer 2 and 3 communication protocols for CPEs based on FTTH, xDSL or coax cable.
- At least 1 year of experience deployment of FTTH or cable networks (CMTS, GPON, OLT, NMS, DOCSIS).
- Familiar with WiFi, Ethernet products and their RFCs.
Communication skills
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive planning and presentation style.
- Discovery of customer requirements, hidden or unrealized and obtaining a consensus.
- Ability to focus ambiguous customer's needs into specific, deliverable requirements.
