Chief Technology Officer in Paris

You will

Design and help deploy cutting edge tech structures to serve journalism, enhance our online payment platform and scale our data collection/protection structure.

You will spearhead the product and technology development culture with the senior leadership team, strategizing about key aspects of the business such as data protection and security, the ever-changing regulatory environment that our company exists in, as well as ensuring all projects are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements.

Expect to stay informed and be ready to discuss and debate on the latest developments in the online payment and media/tech industries in order to be a champion of innovation for our clients.

Required

• Supreme command and understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories; able to play the role of a leader and a developer if needed
Knowledge and experience implementing data security and protection policies
• Impeccable communication skills to manage relationships with clients and Blackink mentors: experience in customer facing roles is an asset
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Readiness to travel (sometimes)
• 3 to 5 years in a professional work environment

Appreciated but not required
• Fintech or cryptocurrency experience
• Payment gateway (third-party client to server-side) development
