The Job
We're
hiring an experienced sales leader that can drive the growth of Glownet
to new heights. Our fast paced global environment needs a motivated,
sharp leader to define, set-out and execute a focused sales strategy. In
this role you'll be part of the Senior Executive team and directly
responsible for the growth of the business.
Glownet's platform
allows event organisers, production companies and brands to execute
events in a more efficient, reliable and profitable way. We partner with
major players like LiveNation, WeWork, Sonar and Ultra to offer users
the best event experience possible. Our services are centred around
Cashless Payments, Access Control, Loyalty and Data Intelligence in the
live event space. We operate at Festivals, Exhibitions, Corporate
events, Sports stadia and much much more.
Glownet is offered
directly to end clients and as a SaaS platform to Ticketing companies,
production companies and catering. We expect our new Head of Sales to
develop a targeted channel sales strategy to unlock and monetise these
new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop growth strategies together with senior leadership.
- Create a focused and targeted approach for current and future clients.
- Coordinate implementation of the sales strategy across channels, client services, marketing and product teams
- Create
accountability within the Sales team by developing appropriate KPIs,
setting up clear commission schemes and tracking of the metrics
- Personally own the relationship with key prospects and close high value deals
- Monitor and report on the revenue pipeline
- Monitor and optimise the processes across the sales cycle
- Build the right expertise within the sales team, including hiring and coordination of (technical) training of sales team members
- Develop and drive a robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
- Oversee the SaaS Partner Sales Strategy -- exploring new sales channels and adding resellers to the network
- Drive a startup-style environment of constant learning and experimentation
- Leverage market and customer research to provide strategic leadership to the company
Requirements
As
with most senior appointments, this position requires you to have the
potential to manage and grow the business beyond the 'day one'
operations you will walk into. This means that you have had a
significant level of strategic, commercial and operational success,
undertaken profitability initiatives and project portfolios as well as
collaborate with other divisions on improvement strategies.
Minimum
- Proven experience as Head of Sales or a similar leadership role
- Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, Commercial leadership and business improvement
- Solid experience in revenue planning, budgeting and team management
- Experience working in an environment that requires tenacious and resilient problem solving
- Superior communication, influencing and sales skills
- Demonstrable ability to lead a team through change
- BS/BA degree
- Eligibility to work in Spain
- Fluent English language

- Working knowledge of technology service delivery sector
- Experience working with a global scale-up technology company
