At bunq ownership is a thing so teams are atypical. Therefore as
bunq’s CMO you’ll need both your intelligence and empathy to build our
dedicated teams and propel us forward. You have worked in service
companies before and you understand its category-specific landscapes and
trends. You set marketing goals and organise to achieve them. You have
experience with reporting on the forces that shift strategic directions
and do what needs to be done to reach your goals. Moreover to expand our
user community you’ll forge strong connections with relevant marketing
networks to fast-forward our growth.
The backbone of your success? Rigorous data analysis, community
insights and ongoing measurements. You dig our fast-paced culture; don’t
care about function titles as you’re a true team player and can’t wait
to make our Marketing and Business teams reach their full potential.
Under your supervision, they'll run like well-oiled machines and will
scale up effectively.
You will join a team of more than 70 bunqers (over 10 nationalities
and counting!) who have one thing in common: we love what we do. Waking
up with brilliant ideas and going to bed knowing that you’ve realised

What we like to see:
- Experience with international expansion of (e-commerce or IT) companies
- A track record in consistently meeting and exceeding targets
- At least 20+ years of experience, with a background in IT in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in thinking and agility in doing
- A master in abstract thinking
- A bit (or a lot) of quirkiness
- Into startups and their culture
