Responsibilities

- Drive the execution of new- and ongoing projects.
- Creatively maneuver through business challenges.
- Help prepare sales pitches (and attend/deliver them).
- Research financial markets and present your insights.
- Work on regulatory challenges and certification processes.
- Create, modify, and report on budget; produce financial statements.
- Perform light fiscal, legal, and HR work.

Talents, Skills, Experience

- Initiative. Can-do attitude. Experience getting something meaningful off the ground.
- Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in a start-up.
- An academic degree (BSc or MSc), preferably in Business, Economics, and/or Finance.
- A special interest in financial markets; experience not a requirement.
- Experience addressing and solving complex business challenges.
- You follow through. You take responsibility for your work and deliver quality in a timely manner.
- You handle pressure. You know how to prioritize your (at times many different) tasks.
- You work and communicate effectively with others. You are respectful towards others and appreciate different work cultures.
- Professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Availability to start between now and early January.
- Within easy commute to our office in the canal district of Amsterdam.

Our benefits

- Competitive salary: depending on education/work experience. This role is for 40 hours per week.
- Vacation days: 25 days of holiday per year based on full time employment.
