About the Role
You will join a growing team of 10+ people (data scientists, engineers and analysts) whose objective is
to help make strategic decisions and spur growth.
As a big data engineer, you will primarily focus on data quality and their availability in a robust
infrastructure that scales.
The team technologies/languages you will work on include Cassandra, Elastic Search, Dataflow,
TensorFlow, BigQuery, Python, SQL.
You will directly contribute (non exhaustive list):
- Help improve and maintain our big data platform, make it scale to handle the high volume of data we
gather (200GB everyday)
- Develop and maintain processing jobs in a distributed environment
- Integrate new data sources to enrich our platform
- Design and deploy automated dashboard to monitor business activities
- Be part of the implementation of predictive models
Your profile
- Top engineering school, M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1/2 years working with Big Data Technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and using Python/Java, SQL
- First experience in hands-on skills in deploying ETL workloads at scale
- Extremely rigorous and excellent problem-solving attitude
- Passion for innovative technologies and eagerness to improve your skills on many software
architectures
- Fluent in English
