We are looking for a Big Data engineer to join our growing experienced and high profile team based in Barcelona. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Requirements analysis

• Platform selection

• Design of application and technical architecture

• Development, testing and deployment

   

Experience

• At least 5 years of proven experience working in Java projects

• Proven track record in Big Data, preferably using Hadoop, Spark and Storm

• Strong knowledge of relational and non- relational databases and key-value-store (MySql, MongoDB or Redis)

• Used to work with Design Patterns

• Strong system architecture thinking combined with hands-on code development skills

• Understand and deal well with rapid development cycles and dynamic teams; remain flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity

• Fluent level of Spanish and English
