Happs is a very dynamic start up led by a serial entrepreneur who
developed an expertise in energy efficiency. We want to help every
operator of climate change through AI. Computer Vision, Natural Language
Processing, Robotics, Cloud Computing, those technologies will be game
breakers in this major challenge of our times.
AI is fueled by data. We want loads of it! That's how the Data
Library Project was born. Happs is building a large library of all the
data available. Data can be Excel sheets but also images or unstructured
texts. We already achieved the collection of a 100 000 files though the
french open data portal data.gouv.fr.
As the Back-end Developer of Happs Data Library you'll be in charge of 4 major projects:
1. Automation of generation of the metadata of the database
collected. You'll have to write scripts that'll have to adapt to many
kind of sources. An app could also help the people creating the metadata
to go faster in their work.
2. Integration of the database to Salesforce
3. Create a search engine in order to find easily the data when needed.
4. Keep the library updated. To do so using APIs or scrapers to be aware of any new dataset available on a data platform.
You'll work close to the manager of the Data Library and work with the Data Analysts who create the metadata of the files.
The work atmosphere is the best you can find in parisian start ups.
Happs has two offices: one in the roof top of a famous parisian concert
hall (amazing terrace where you eat free food every day), the second is
based in WeWork, a high standard coworking space (free beers and roof
top!). After works, escape games and football games (we have 5 seats
reserved for every game of the PSG this season!) is our daily life at
