We are looking for a “Automation- / Manufacturing Engineer” for our
office in Barcelona to help us kickstarting our Internet of Things (IoT)
Unit!
GINDUMAC – Global Industrial Machinery Cluster is an innovative,
international Start-Upin the area of trading used production machinery.
We are looking forward to motivated engineering talents who are
willing to go with us create and shape the Digital Future of the used
machinery market.
Responsibilities:
● Analyze and Research in possibility to enhance GINDUMAC’s used machinery andmachine tool portfolio
● Build prototypes of enhanced used machinery to initiate GINDUMAC’s IoT Applications
● Create Characteristics for different machine types and manufacturing Processes to determine possible enhancements quickly
● On Site Evaluation for possible enhancements of used machinery
● Integrate, deploy and enable (wireless) communication interfaces into existing
machines systems and externalize the retrieved data.
Skills & Requirements:
● Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Automotion-/ Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant Field
● Solid Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes such as Machining
(Milling, Drilling, Turning, Cutting), Additive Manufacturing, Joining,
Molding, etc.
● Solid Knowledge of Machine Tools and Mechanical, Kinematical characteristics used in mentioned Manufacturing Processes
● Solid Knowledge of PLC, embedded sensors, Computer Integrated Manufacturing and communications protocols.
● Experience in the usage of manufacturing systems and their specifications.
● General Knowledge of CAx Systems (especially CAD/CAM) and CNC Machines
● Basic Knowledge one of the programming languages such as C or C++, Python or Java.
● Entrepreneurial spirit
● High determination and proactivity (ideally you have some experience in Start-Up environments)
● Proficiency in English or Spanish
● German is a plus
