Android Developer in Barcelona

We are looking  for an Android developer to join our team. You will be responsible for the development, from scratch and maintenance of a new application aimed at diverse Android devices.  The new application will feature latest technologies in the field of nutrition & wellness

Your primary focus will be the development of an Android application and its integration with back-end services.

Responsibilities

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code

Design, build, and maintain reusable and reliable Java code

Work on bug fixes and improving application performance

Skills

Proven working experience in Android app development (3-4 years with apps available in Google Play Store)

Strong knowledge of Android SDK and developing for different Android versions and screen sizes

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Skilled at working with REST APIs and JSON

Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

Knowledge of Android ecosystem and libraries

Experience with unit testing

Proficient with Git"
