About the Role

  • The way we deliver training is changing forever. Fenergo’s Knowledge Management and Training (KM&T) team are seeking an individual who can help shape the way we deliver training in our ever-changing environment.

  • Fenergo's Knowledge Management and Training Team is at the forefront of our company's success as it works collaboratively with all areas to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of our solution in order to design and develop training material for delivery to our employees, our clients and our partners
  • This role will be client facing and requires an individual who has excellent communication skills, a self-starter, as well as an innovative thinker and someone who is passionate about training.


Primary responsibilities of the Technical Trainer include:

  • Influence the continuous improvement of Fenergo’s technical training programme reinforcing a quality culture
  • Designing and developing learning content both for Instructor Lead Training (ILT) and online for our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Delivering technical training on the company's software solutions for internal staff, partners, and external clients.
  • You will partner with the business to roll out relevant technical and functional training programmes
  • You will be responsible for identifying training needs for clients, staff and partners and developing appropriate solutions to address these needs and ensuring that identified training programs are delivered successfully
  • You will follow up on feedback from training and continually improve content
  • You will also be expected to maintain the infrastructure which you will use to deliver your training, including virtual environments, software deployment and associated document and presentations and course outlines etc.
  • When required International travel to deliver training on-site in person is also expect for this role.
  • Develop product demonstration/simulations and case studies
  • Design training material including PowerPoint presentations, notes / handouts, and lab exercises
  • Design and deliver e-learning solutions to align with our client, staff and partner needs.
  • Adhere to deadlines, project commitments and deliverables
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle
  • Provide timely feedback on training content and incorporating same into current training documentation
  • Provide internal support and mentoring on projects
  • Manage training events from start to finish

Requirements

Beneficial Skills

The following skills would be useful but not required

  • Experience working with C# language and Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .net framework
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
  • Knowledge of Apache Camel route configuration and transforms
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry an advantage
  • Source Control – Git / TFS

Education & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification
  • Microsoft Certification an advantage
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
