We’re looking for an exceptional Tech Lead Engineer to architect and build our products, and support the scale and complexity of their growth. You’ll work with senior client stakeholders, report to our CEO, get hands-on with the code, and lead the efforts of other engineers along the way. You’ll drive a significant impact on the team and will operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy around your solutions.

- Whitespectre operates on a fully-modern tech stack. You will be working with React, Typescript, REST/GraphQL, Node.js/Next.js/Express, etc.
- Working smartly is important to us; automation, dynamic environments spin up with new feature branches and slack bot integrations control our production releases (CI/CD, AWS, Github workflows).
- We follow an agile 2-week sprint methodology with Product, UI/UX and Engineering within the team to align closely with business stakeholders and incrementally build and release new functionality.
- The majority of our projects involve building greenfield applications and our delivery teams typically own products end to end - your thinking and contribution make a big impact!

What you will do:
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers & Design team and C-level, analyzing customer requirements to ensure seamless execution and contribute directly to the development efforts through hands-on coding and issue resolution
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing technical direction and guidance to ensure high-quality standards are met in a timely way
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development capabilities
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes and tools, including AI tools and frameworks, to enhance development capabilities and innovate solutions
- Drive quality throughout the entire process from estimating to requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Drive an agenda with the engineering teams to address technical debt and ongoing operations
- Promote the use of high-quality documentation and code practices
The “check the box” Requirements
- Strong organizational, project management, leadership skills and the ability to deliver clear decisions
- 10+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years of them being a Technical Lead. Excellent technical expertise, including knowledge of React, Typescript, REST/GraphQL, Node.js/Next.js/Express, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques, strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English level, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong multitasking and task prioritization abilities
- Awareness of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development - highly motivated, eager to learn & coach others
- Can work full-time with a significant crossover with the core hours: 11am - 7pm Central European Time
