Our platform runs the
businesses of 600+ Chefs, in 6 countries for thousands of hungry
customers. Our website and future applications are growing fast and we
need you to help with their development.
We’re looking for a full
stack hacker that’s comfortable working building different components of
our platform from technical specifications to deploying to production.
Here are some details of what you'd be working with:
- Node.js
- Express
- Mongoose
- MongoDB
- MVC Frameworks (Angular.js, CanJS, Ember, Backbone.js)
- HTML5, CSS3, LESS / SASS, JS
- RESTful APIs
As part of La Belle Assiette’s tech team, you will :
- Be developing the back-end of our web app and API as well as building other features and products in the works
- Help with front-end development when needed
- Work closely with our Product Manager and Lead Engineer on technical architecture
- Ship to thousands of users several times a week
- Work with our metrics team to run experiments
- Give back to the developer community (our tech blog)
Requirements
We are looking for someone :
- Who is friendly and comfortable talking directly to customers and non-tech members of the team
- Has
experience working in teams on development projects and understands the
importance of building code which is easily maintainable
- Who is of any age, your skills will be enough to convince us, not your age or past experience
- Who
is an independent and versatile hacker, with the ability to pick up
different languages, frameworks and techniques with relative ease
- Who has good knowledge of the technologies we use (listed above)
- Who
gives back, or wants to give back, to the developer community (through
blog posts, open source, speaking, stackoverflow answers)
- Who has experience working with another startup before (would be awesome, it’s cool if not)
- With a strong entrepreneurial drive and the ability to achieve goals in a fast paced environment
- Who loves what we do, and gets why we are doing it and where we are going
- Ready to commit to a period of hard work, with the very gratifying result of seeing La Belle Assiette be a success
