• You will define the backend architecture and/or code patterns.
• Architecture and code patterns questions will come to you and decisions will come from you.
• You will manage other team developers and contracted developers.
• You will undertake deliveries acceptances and code reviews.
• You will produce detailed technical specifications ready-for-development for other team members and contracted developers.
• As we are in the startup stage, you will also code and do the usual tasks of the SDLC.

• 5+ years as a backend software architect.
• 8+ years as backend developer.
• 3+ years leading development teams and off-shore development and have worked with growing tech teams.
• Extensive experience in producing detailed technical specifications.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, architecture patterns.
• Knowledgeable about DevOps best practices, Test Automation and CI/CD.
• Ability to analyze performance of applications, design and execute performance tests.
• 5+ years of architecting and development experience for:
• API and microservices design and implementation.
• RESTful services and WebSockets.
• At least three of the following technologies and frameworks:
Node.js, Java (Spring), Ruby on Rails, Phyton (Django), Go, PHP
(Laravel).
• At least two of the following databases: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Security and IAM/SAML and/or OAuth/OpenID.
• Client software offline/online status management and client-server data synchronization architectures and code patterns.
• At least one of the following messages queuing and pub/sub technologies: RabbitMQ, Redis, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS.
• Grade on Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English, spoken and written. You will be part of an international team.
