We are on the hunt for a senior UX designer to join our Enterprise Platform & Tech Operations (EPTO) department in Barcelona on a full-time basis. EPTO is the single home for user-centric and cost-efficient internal technology products, driving collaboration, automation and value-generation.
As a senior UX designer in the EPTO department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our employee and customer experience by designing and optimising the tools and services that support our enterprise operations. The UX designer will work hand in hand with the product owner and the technical lead to define the strategy of the product.
The UX designer will also have the opportunity to contribute to the transformation into a product-mindset organisation. Scaling UX processes in the different areas and product teams, educating teams on how to set the user at the heart of what we deliver. You will partner with the Lead Product Advisor in EPTO to set the right milestones to achieve this transformation.
You will work in a team of accomplished UX specialists and be part of our Global team of +100 designers and researchers.
What you'll do
Lead projects with a strong user-centred and data informed mindset. This includes the planning and facilitation of workshops, (senior) stakeholder management, prioritisation, operational tasks and overseeing quan qual analysis that leads to actionable strategic recommendations.
Play a crucial role in shaping the employee experience by designing and optimising the tools and services that support our internal operations. You work closely with Operations, Product & Tech departments and other stakeholders, to understand their needs, pain points, and goals
You bring the voice of our customers to the table and actively amplify this across the B2C domain. You drive user-centred goals and ensure these goals are achieved.
Continuous discovery of the problem space in order to get a better understanding of the immediate user needs / problems employees and customers are facing.
Accelerate validation cycles (definitions, recruitment, validation, analysis) through (remote) user testing & experimentation and plan quick iterations with your peers.
Create simple, consistent and user friendly experiences for our customers as they move through their journey. You ensure consistency by using our overarching design patterns and global design system.
Drive a strong user-centric mindset into the EPTO organisation, define user-centric related standards, frameworks and practices.
Help Product Lines identify specific areas of improvement based on user satisfaction, user journey analysis, UX etc
Your Profile
Strong background in UX and Research in an agile environment. You have the ability to deliver fast, high-quality insights and recommendations that support product decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data.
You are a problem solver at heart and have a strong conceptual and interaction design skill set. Your biggest strength is breaking complex challenges down into smaller parts.
You understand how to build scalable designs and products for SaaS & Enterprise software
You are up to date with the latest design trends, product experimentation methodologies, lean discovery and validation process, and ways to measure UX success. You are passionate about product development and are constantly looking for ways to improve the discovery and delivery process.
You have a goal oriented mindset and drive results through your ability to establish and strengthen trust, empathy and disciplined collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to inspire and guide other team members without direct authority and provide hands-on leadership.
You have excellent soft skills and are able to provide and give constructive feedback in order to ensure you’re always working towards the most suitable solution.
Being fluent in English is a must criteria
