Prime Trader, a pioneering social trading and gamified cryptocurrency exchange, seeks an experienced and visionary Tech Project Manager to enhance our tech team and spearhead upcoming initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience managing tech teams in the fintech or DeFi industries with background in blockchain or Web3 implementations and a proven track record in agile team management. The Tech Project Manager will work closely with our C-Level Team, and manage the Tech Leads to convey our vision and ensure our platform's features are user-friendly, intuitive, and engaging.
Responsibilities:
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing tech teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking tech strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company’s goals, providing visibility on the front, backend, and blockchain implementations.
- Oversee the engineering team building our core products and Web3 features, including Account Abstraction, DeFi, NFTs, and other blockchain-based features.
- Promote and implement AGILE methodologies within the tech team to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and time to market for new product features and updates. DevOps practices are highly valued.
- Manage relationships with technology partners and providers, ensuring resource optimization and fostering collaboration. Evaluate and incorporate new technologies to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
- Regularly review and adjust in response to emerging technology trends and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including product teams, marketing, and external partners to align technology development with market trends and business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with additional certifications in blockchain technology and AGILE methodologies preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the fintech or financial sector. Strong leadership skills with a history of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing tech teams.
- Solid knowledge of blockchain and Web3 technologies.
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies in fast-paced, high-growth environments, particularly in areas such as fintech, cryptocurrency exchanges, digital wallets, and other blockchain-based financial services.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, DeFi, and decentralized applications (DApps) in general.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience leading AGILE development teams with proficiency in top management tools and methodologies.
- A passion for innovation and staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in technology, blockchain, and fintech.
