Senior QA Engineer en Barcelona

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for owning and evolving the QA process inside the team, ensuring the quality and conformance of the product deliverables in the team to meet our high-quality standards.

What your day-to-day will look like

• You will set and ensure established QA and automated testing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Constantly make proposals about software quality assurance and QA best practices
• Ensure quality by implementing appropriate testing strategies: integration/regression/end-to-end/smoke/exploratory/non-functional at appropriate periods: sprint/release.
• Collaborate with the customer team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Collaborate with the development team to solve bugs and issues
• Evaluate deliverables according to specifications, seeks a deep understanding of both the solution domain and technologies
• Provide Root Cause Analysis and ensure findings are effectively communicated
• Document processes, best practices and platform-specific knowledge to effective and rigorous
• Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, and give visibility to all stakeholders

What you should bring

Technically

• 3+ years experience as an Agile tester, Quality Assurance Tester, or similar role
• 1+ years experience in a Senior QA position
• Programming skills in automated test technologies: Selenium, Java, Junit, Postman, Gherkin/Cucumber, Bash, or similar.
• Expert knowledge of web and API testing
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr)
• Familiarity working within Agile Scrum is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and Spanish (oral / written)
