We're looking for a product leader who cares deeply about elegantly solving the observability challenges faced by developers and operators of modern software running in the Cloud.

With over 2 billion data samples every minute, New Relic runs one of the largest SaaS data collection systems in the world. As a Senior Product Manager on the Telemetry Data Platform team, you'll be working closely with our customers and teams as we invent new ways for our customers to get full insight into the performance and health of their applications and infrastructure components running in the Cloud like Kubernetes clusters, databases, web servers or streaming systems.

This opportunity is based in Barcelona, Spain, and may be available for work from a remote office depending on the applicant's location.

What you'll do
  • Product strategy: Own strategy and execution of full product lifecycle informed by customer and market insights, data analysis, competitive landscape, and company direction.
  • Customer interactions: Proactively work with prospects and customers to learn about the problems they are trying to solve, build great relationships, and drive product direction.
  • Leadership: Use product strategy to align and partner with cross-functional leaders. Establish credibility and strong working relationships with collaborators across the organization. Lead internal and external product promotion, education, and support.
  • Outcomes: Define success metrics for initiatives, use data to drive decisions, and build a culture passionate about outcomes.
This role requires
  • 3+ years experience as a product manager for technical B2B SaaS products
  • Strong background in product management practices, tools, and frameworks
  • Good understanding of DevOps with an understanding of how modern software is built, packaged, deployed, and observed in the Cloud.
  • Proven track record of decision-making, balancing business, customer, and partner needs
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead via influence and perseverance, and use data to drive decisions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that include the ability to clearly articulate business needs and customer problems as a context for collaboration to best solve complex problems
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, changing software business environment
