Your challenge
In the core of our proposition are our consumer products like the
thermostat and energy display. These are high tech connected products
which have to fit within the customers interior and become part of their
daily life routine. It will give access to a broad portfolio of smart
energy features and services. Rolling out internationally requires our
product portfolio to support all kinds of country specifics in heating
systems, energy usage and customer behavior in general. At the same
time, we have to guard our competitive position and keep up with fast
going developments in the IoT domain.
- Based on Quby’ s business strategy and ambition, develop a roadmap
for our commercial consumer products portfolio for the coming years.
- Ensure that our products support our business strategy and
objectives, fit local market needs, are highly competitive, have
sufficient technical market reach and comply with applicable
regulations.
- Be on top of developments in the market of connected consumer
electronics and especially smart thermostat incorporate the insights
into our product strategy.
- Make sure we have all specific information on e.g. consumer behavior, the heating and energy domain or regulations we need.
- Be aligned with our Partners on their ambition, objectives and product requirements.
- Refine roadmap items together with Quby Product Owners, Architects
and suppliers into actionable steps, set priorities and agree on
time-lines.
- Prepare make or buy decisions.
- Prepare and close design and supply agreements working closely together with legal.
Who you are
A fast learner who thrives in challenging environments and has a
creative yet pragmatic approach to problem solving. You are a team
player with excellent communications skills and love to take ownership.
- You have a technical education (Bachelor or Master).
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in Consumer Electronics.
- Knowledge in the field of connected and/or display products is a plus.
- You are a self-starter with strong leadership skills and love to work in a changing environment.
- We are looking for a outgoing personality with excellent presentation skills.
- You have excellent English language skills both oral and in writing.
- Preferably you also bring a network in the consumer electronics industry, especially in the IoT domain.
- Additional language skills in French/ German or Italian are a plus.
