The Senior Product Designer is a key person in the Product team who tackles all aspects of the design process. This is a multidisciplinary role that includes visual design, interaction design and architecture, while working with cross-functional teams and multi-device experiences. We are looking for a product-minded designer who is able to look deeply at holistic user experiences, shopper and merchant requirements, and be able to align that to business objectives. You’ll be an integral member of this team by driving the design delivery process while improving tools and development techniques. You’ll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to create industry-changing products.

Requirements

    • An expert with a solid understanding of usability, UX, UI, and Interaction Design
    • Demonstrated success, experienced, with 5+ years in interface and user experience design at a consumer internet company
    • Knowledgeable in the latest design tool sets (Adobe Creative CC, Sketch, etc.)
    • Experienced with prototyping tools such as Flinto, AdobeXD and/or Invision
    • Experienced in conducting customer research and usability tests/sessions
    • Proven track record in translating high-level requirements into interaction flows and wireframes and transforming them into beautiful, intuitive and functional design
    • Think about design holistically, across a complex product architecture --- from the shopper experience to the merchant dashboard.
    • Create and maintain a strong and adaptive design system, while helping integrate it across all parts of our product.
    • You take pride in designing simple, human-centered experiences that appeal to a broad audience and minimize complexity.
    • Defend design decisions and point of view, but also receive criticism and feedback gracefully
    • A strong communicator (Spanish and English)
