The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff. We're cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way, deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation. It's a fast-paced market with many challenges. We're seeking an experienced team member to join our External Interfaces Platform team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer.
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our collaborative team, leveraging your expertise in both frontend (using React) and backend (powered by NodeJS). Beyond being an engineer, you'll also act as a mentor, helping improve the skills of your colleagues and ensuring the delivery of top-notch products in Veriff's identity verification process.
With a successful track record, External Interfaces Platform team has built and scaled our verification flow, serving millions of users. Now, we're taking it a step further, transforming it into a robust platform where your hands-on involvement is crucial. Your ability to solve problems and experience in coordinating larger initiatives will play a key role in overcoming challenges on both fronts.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Engaging in full-stack development using various coding languages and frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Node, React)
- Implementing backend systems with Typescript, Python, and Node
- Creating web or mobile interfaces using React
- Collaborating closely with our product and design teams to develop new experiences for our End User systems
- Enhancing the performance and stability of our End User systems to improve product metrics
- Crafting clean, readable code, debugging complex problems across systems, and efficiently addressing project needs based on priorities.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:
- Over 5 years of experience in building large-scale applications
- Long-term experience in NodeJS and React, using TypeScript
- Ownership experience of a specific component, feature, or system
- A proven track record in developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
