This Madrid-based position is part of the Employee Services team (ES), which designs and runs the infrastructure to deliver an outstanding employee experience from (pre-)onboarding and beyond. This hire will be a key player, interacting with employees and the business daily to predict and address the needs of those stakeholders and will partner with the larger EMEA Employee Services, HRBP & Talent Acquisition teams to provide on the ground support and advice. The role supports experience, benefits, mobility, contingent workforce, operations, and compliance across Spain. You will be expected to be highly independent and proactive in identifying and implementing positive change and improvements, and you will strategize to create an amazing employee experience, aligned to our culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide front line support to the team and identify opportunities for improvement for employees and the business across all functions in our Madrid offices (2 locations) to scale a great employee experience.
  • Provide support by partnering with our EMEA HRBP & Talent Acquisition teams to keep a finger on the pulse on the needs and support for the teams and functions operating in our Madrid offices.
  • Organize, facilitate and scale the employee experience to help assimilate new hires to our culture, business and benefits in Spain and across the region.
  • Support the team in Spain by engaging with employees to help them understand and navigate our benefit offerings, partnering with local benefit consultants to manage day to day benefit operations, and partnering with the Benefits team to provide insight into local practices
  • Partner with our hiring managers with the engagement, classification, onboarding/offboarding and assignment management of contingent workers while fostering collaborative relationships with new and existing staffing partners in EMEA.
  • Take on the role of a Mobility Advocate to support relocating employees, including partnering with external partners to ensure a smooth experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of HR experience in the Spanish market in an international, dynamic, fast moving environment.
  • Experience and understanding of supporting early stage growth environments where the need to find solutions is more important rather than leaning on a rule book.
  • Great front of house manner, comfortable building relationships with a multinational workforce who are smart, demanding and experienced.
  • Interest in and ability to wear many hats simultaneously - moving from onboarding to compliance and from mobility to benefits.
  • Proven knowledge of Spanish and international employment, benefits, global mobility practices, social security and labor laws in Spain and the EMEA region.
  • Fluent in both English & Spanish.
