We are GuestReady, a global PropertyTech company in short-term and vacation-rental management! We provide professional services to real estate investors, hosts, as well as guests. Featured in TechCrunch (http://tcrn.ch/2b9gFNa), our mission is to take the hassle out of short-term rentals. Any operations that are related to turning over guests and optimise listings to incur a maximum yield for the host are handled by us.

GuestReady is founded by seasoned entrepreneurs and operates in Europe and Asia. We are growing super fast and are now looking for a Senior Developer to help us solve complex logistical challenges with an industry leading tech solution.

Responsibilities (non-concluding):

• Define the roadmap for our product development in collaboration with stakeholders on the business side
• Prioritise feature development according to technical and business requirements
• Solve challenging problems to build the tech solution that allows to manage highly complex logistical processes at scale
• Work autonomously taking full responsibility for all tech related topics in the company
• Find and hire talented people to build up a great team
• Take responsibility of code quality and architecture.

Expectations:

• You are a coder at heart. You like hard problems, but know how to keep things simple.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years hands-on work experience in a similar role
• Mastering Ruby 2.3 and Rails 4, additional experience in html and javascript is a big plus
• Experience with data storage solution, SQL database knowledge
• Knowledge in building scalable systems
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Self-driven, self-motivated, proactive
• Ability to prioritize and structure problems
• Willingness to go the extra mile
