Enverus has expanded its solutions in Power & Renewables with the addition of RatedPower. A high growth start up, RatedPower’s technology expands our portfolio of solutions in solar with its cloud-based software that automates and opzimizes the feasibility study, analysis, design and engineering of solar power plants, and our geographical coverage internationally.
We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Engineering team in Madrid. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
What you’ll do:
- Define the data architecture considering data security, compliance and governance
- Implement the infrastructure and services required for data transformation from a variety of data sources
- Work with the product, tech leads and engineering managers to assist with all the data-related challenges
- Work with the developers, architects and devSecOps to build the analytics data infrastructure, queries and SQL optimization.
- Support analytics through tools, processes and pipelines
- Define engineering policies to enforce standards and best practices
- Building and supporting dashboards
- Shape the future of a cross-functional team responsible for the data architecture
- Become the go-to person on the team when dealing with data problems
What you should have:
- +2 years on a similar role like Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
- Experience with AWS and object-oriented scripting languages such Python and backend systems using cloud storage services.
- Good knowledge of SQL and data modelling (data warehouse, data lake, etc)
- Experience with building and operating data privacy related engineering services and infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience building software for database administration or experience with devops for databases is a plus.
- Comfortable communicating across all levels of management
