Senior Computer Vision Scientist en Madrid

As a Senior Computer Vision Scientist at Taiger, you will implement computer vision and image recognition technologies and use the latest advances in neural networks and computer vision to provide new, exciting features to our product lineup.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Apply state-of-the-art Deep learning Techniques and computer vision to enhance the Image processing capabilities of the product
• Develop robust OCR engines to extract text in multiple languages from scanned images
• Prepare images and enhance text for OCR processing
• Integrate computer vision processing with other services at Taiger.

Requirement:

• Strong background in Computer Vision (CV), Machine Learning, or related technical fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on applied CV projects, mainly optical character recognition (OCR), Intelligent character recognition (ICR), Image processing & classification etc.
• Expertise in using deep neural networks and its application in Image Processing & OCR related fields
• Strong understanding and practical exposure to Bidirectional LSTMs, CTC, CNNs
• Knowledge of high accuracy OCR engines and ability to optimize them including Tesseract OCR, Open CV etc.
• Proficiency in one or more: Java / Scala / Python
