This is a unique opportunity for a talented and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join a quickly growing company like Nexthink. As we are starting to execute on our Cloud strategy we are looking for a person to own and drive the security aspects of it. It goes without saying that security is a fundamental component of our Cloud product, therefore we have decided to embed the security concepts (policies, risk management, processes) from the very beginning, and this role is a key part of it.

Responsibilities

• Build a security strategy, policies and processes for the new Cloud product

• Review the architecture, design and development plans to ensure they comply with industry security standards

• Lead the DevSecOps by educating developers and devops around the plan, policies and best practicesok  

• Support DevOps on building security automation and achieve scalability

• Apply knowledge, understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects related Cloud security  

• Develop metrics for performance and risk monitoring

• Respond and escalate or resolve security incidents

• Stay up to date with the industry practices, tools and market trends

• Expert in Cloud security concepts and Cloud security service configurations

• Experience of 5+ years in:
  • Setting up Cloud software security policies
  • Identity, credential and access management  
  • Scripting languages like Python or similar
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Active security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM is a plus

• Analytical mind, flexible mindset, and result oriented  

• Strong problem-solving skills

• At ease in a Scrum environment

• Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible and collaborative team

• Fluent speaking and writing in English. If not at ease, motivated to catch up quickly
