Your Role at Shootr
You will work as a Software Engineer in our Barcelona office. You will mentor your team members on best practices for back end development.
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, rollout and running software services. You will be developing clean and effective code by allowing refactoring when needed and ensuring your code base incl. tests are ready for change, as well as shipping your code to thousands of machines serving many users around the world.
Skills & Requirements:
Must Have:
- Experience using Kotlin, Java/JVM-based languages server-side
- Experience using Spring Boot 2
- Experience using AWS services, including DynamoDB, S3 or its equivalents in other cloud platforms
- Experience in the design of highly reliable and scalable architectures
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WebSockets
- Experience using Infrastructure as code platforms such as Terraform
- Devops/SRE and chaos engineering experience
- Data acquisition and large-scale analytics experience
