The role:

We are looking for a highly driven, consumer oriented Android developer to join our growing Engineering team. This role is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

You will:

• Imagine, develop, document, support, and maintain native mobile software
• Write elegant and functional code
• Ship features often
• Communicate regularly and overcome “blocks”
• Create software you’re proud of and that consumers love

• Real-world experience creating and maintaining mobile applications using Java and Kotlin. We're looking for people with 4+ years of experience under their belt.
• Proficiency with MVP and consuming REST
• Experience with Bluetooth
• Experience creating and maintaining automated unit tests, integration tests and builds/deployments
• A good listener who respects their colleagues, but who isn’t afraid to assert themselves
• An owner. You pick work up off the floor, solve hard problems, and believe in asking for forgiveness, not permission
• Fearlessness, and a comfort with uncertainty. You have an acumen for turning complex problems into actionable plans
