QA Engineer en Barcelona

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) technician to lead the overall effort for ensuring quality of the CornerJob product.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and conducting rigorous tests before and after product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets the quality standards. These tests will touch all our product lines across iOS, Android and Web. The candidate will also assist the Product team to review and validate bug reports on a regular basis to enable an efficient operation of the development cycle and objectives.

 Your main responsabilities will be:

• Perform functional, regression, performance and usability testing in both pre-production and production environments.
  
• Design and maintain regression test documentation (Confluence).
  
• Review and validate the internal/external bug reports on a timely basis (Jira).
  
•  Identify, investigate and thoroughly document bugs and their root causes.
  
• Liaise regularly between development engineers, designers and product managers to identify system requirements.
  
• Internal communication of test results and release notes.
  
• Prepare test plans, test scripts, test results, and other miscellaneous documentation as necessary and appropriate.
  
•  Identify, explore and implement opportunities/solutions for test automation.

Skills required:

•  Professional education.
  
•  Experience in software lifecycle and Agile development methodologies.
  
•  Excellent analytic skills to investigate root causes of non-conforming software.
  
• Strong technical understanding: SQL and NoSQL databases, HTTP stack and web APIs.
  
•  Development experience a plus and test automation for web & mobile apps desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and quickly drive resolution of issues.
  
• Ability to adapt to change easily and to meet tight deadlines.
  
•  Must be a team player, well organized and efficient.
  
•  Fast learner, self-propelled and proactive.
