Product Owner en Barcelona

Kognia Sports Intelligence is assembling a team to develop next-generation football analytics software. Leveraging the latest technology in computer vision and machine learning, and an understanding of the game from top football coaches, our software will provide automatic tactical feedback to top clubs, leagues, and youth academies.

We are an early-stage startup with a dynamic and passionate team in an exciting market. Currently in intensive product development and discovery, we are in the process of delivering prototypes to our first users. We are seeking a Product Owner to work with our development team and stakeholders in order to deliver an innovative and industry-leading product.

The salary range for the Product Owner position is EUR 30.000 to 40.000.

Responsibilities

• Join development teams as the agile Product Owner
• Providing vision and direction to the  development team based in coordination with stakeholders
• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
• Work with the founders to define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories
• Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of goals
• Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
• Follow our competitors and the industry
• Keep abreast with agile best practices and new trends

Requirements

• Prior experience as Product Owner on an agile development team
• In-depth knowledge of agile processes and principles
• Outstanding communication and organization skills
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
