 Job Purpose

The Product Manager Third Party Ancillaries will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase revenue through the sales of third-party products and services. This person will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with third-party providers, and for ensuring that these partnerships are profitable and contribute to the growth of our company.

Main Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for third-party product and service offerings, with a focus on increasing revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and manage relationships with third-party providers, negotiating commercial terms and ensuring that partnerships are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the integration of third-party products and services into our company's systems and processes, merchandising them effectively and ensuring that they are seamless and efficient for customers.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for third-party products and services, conducting market research and benchmarking to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Oversee the implementation of effective reporting and performance tracking systems to measure the success of third-party products and services, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Own the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the team. This means taking full responsibility for monitoring, analyzing, and communicating the progress and results against these KPIs. It also involves regularly reviewing the KPIs to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with the goals of the team and organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to ensure that third-party products and services are effectively promoted and integrated into our customer experience.
  • Influence and strengthen alignment among internal and external teams involved in ancillary product sales and service delivery, championing new initiatives and becoming a visible face for the products.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of specialists in third-party products and services, providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional growth.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Economics.


Experience 

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 in the airline/hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success in managing third-party products and services.

  • Communication skills: Must be an excellent communicator, able to articulate the vision and benefits of the product to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Trategic Thinker: Must have a strategic mindset, able to see the big picture and think creatively about how to position the product for success.
  • Technology savvy: Must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of various third-party product integration systems, as well as the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Product Knowledgeable: Must have a deep understanding of the product and its market, able to speak knowledgeably about its features and benefits.
  • Networking skills: Must be skilled in relationship building, able to connect with potential partners and collaborators to bring the product to market.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Must be a self-starter, eager to succeed and willing to take risks to bring the product to market.
  • Passion: Must be passionate about the product and its potential, and be able to express their enthusiasm in a way that inspires others to support the initiative.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with third-party providers.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering business results and achieving goals.
