Your Role as a Product Manager:

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for documenting product strategy and leading the planning, execution, and success tracking of the strategy. You will be responsible for gathering and collating product strategy in partnership with senior management, and successful delivery will require coordination and teamwork across marketing, product development, and sales.

The successful incumbent will need excellent communication skills, be a great listener, have strong analytical skills, and know how to drive the product management process for the benefit of our customers and our company. You must be able to articulate value propositions both internally and externally while measuring and driving our success and influence our customers’ interests. You will interface with multiple cultures and global time zones and in return will have flexible work hours.

 

A Day in the Life of a Product Manager:

  • Work with stakeholders to create and organize product backlogs
  • Responsible for definition, documentation, and management of strategic, operational, and technology projects
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of project plans and schedules, including release forecasting
  • Responsible for developing roadmaps and working with peers to ensure cross-roadmap continuity and resource balancing
  • Integrate customer and market research to document competitive analysis, understand customer use cases, and product requirements
  • Formulate business cases and roadmaps required for cross-functional planning
  • Document product roadmap, requirements definition, positioning, messaging, and price strategy
  • Work with product designers and customers to define and refine the user experience
  • Represent and promote relevant product lines at internal and external events
  • Develop and execute successful go to market plans including launch planning and necessary sales collateral
  • Successfully coordinate with cross functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer care to define and deliver to timelines
  • Track product usage, success, issues, and customer feedback
  • Work with third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Work in an agile environment following scrum development processes

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years previous experience as a Product Manager in a cloud-based SaaS business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Customer facing roles with executive interaction
  • Experience positioning, messaging and launching products on a global basis
  • Experience with product management methodologies
  • Proven track record for product delivery and launch
  • Proven ability to initiate and author comprehensive requirement specifications for hardware and software products
  • High-integrity, team player with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong personal time management skills
